This record of the first one hundred years of the Western Australian School for Deaf Children is a story of struggles, of some conflicts, and of many successes and achievements. Above all, it is a record of the continuing struggle to achieve an education system that serves the needs of deaf children and their parents in this State.

The Fathering Project is a University of Western Australia based non-profit team of professionals whose aim is to help fathers realise the importance they play in their child's lives and to give  advice on how to encourage their children. Their work is also aimed at father figures such as grandfathers, uncles, stepfathers, youth leaders etc...
